Well firstly, I think it’s a fun process, it’s not a time to fear or worry about, we’re just going to spend time looking at what you have in your closet, and working out what you do and don’t wear.

We go through everything and put anything to the side that you no longer wear or that you may have “fallen out of love with”.
Once we’ve done that, we usually find that we’ve freed up a lot of space in your wardrobe which means you have a much clearer view of the clothes you do like. This makes getting dressed in the morning much more fun.
It can take hours to clear out your unwanted clothes, but once that’s done, the next step is to work out what we’ll do with them. If they’re in good condition and have another life to live, I take them away and sell them. If they have seen better days, but are still very wearable, we donate them to charity stores.
And then, with what’s left, i get to organising. Folding, rolling, re stacking your clothes, this is where the magic happens. An orderly, clean, organised drawer or cupboard is a calming and soothing sight and I find once most people see their wardrobes fully reorganised, they feel an overwhelming sense of relief.
The other benefit of a wardrobe edit, is that we can spend time working out how you can wear certain pieces. Lots of us have individual items that we love but we’re just not sure how to wear it. I help with that. I love coming up with new ways to wear things and giving my clients options for how to wear things.

A wardrobe edit is about 3 things:
- De cluttering your clothing space,
- Working out what you have and don’t have in your wardrobe,
- Finding ways to maximise the clothes have you have an creating new outfits.
I love helping my clients go through this process, so if you’re keen, get in touch! I’d love to work with you.
